Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Senior Care Assistant where kindness sits at the core of everyday care within our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist homes. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, plan personalised care, and form strong relationships with residents and families to ensure dignity and independence.

You will support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, deliver stimulating activities, and maintain accurate records while ensuring high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care required or equivalent.
• Willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification.
• Experience or background in person-centred care planning for dementia.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement personalised care plans for residents.
• Lead and support a team of Care Assistants to maintain high care standards.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with residents and families.
• Assist Registered Nurse and Care Manager; administer medication when needed.
• Provide stimulating activities to residents and build strong team relationships.
