Cornerstone Healthcare Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Kitnocks House in Hampshire. We require at least 12 months' experience in a care home setting and the NVQ/QCF level 3 (or working towards it).

Responsabilidades

• Under supervision of the Registered Nurse, support and guide the care team to meet daily resident needs, including personal hygiene, nutrition and hydration, and participation in meaningful activities.
• Prioritise workload of the care team and seek nurse in charge guidance as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings and clinical reviews as prescribed by the Nurse in charge.
• Help residents stay as independent as possible and respect their rights of choice, privacy and dignity.

What You’ll Bring

Your Working Pattern

Week A - 3 days - Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 07.30 to 20.00

Week B - 4 days - Monday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday:07.30 to 20.00

Total average of 40.25 hours worked per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Under supervision of the Registered Nurse, undertake support and guiding the care team to meet the daily care needs of our residents. This includes ensuring colleagues undertake allocated of breaks. support care delivery which includes personal hygiene, nutrition and hydration and participation in meaningful activities. The Senior would also participate in these activities to ensure the wellbeing of our residents is achieved.
• Prioritising workload of the care team, seeking advice from the nurse in charge where necessary.
• Participate in meetings including staff meetings, case reviews, clinical reviews, as prescribed by the Nurse in charge.
• Helping residents to remain as independent as possible.
• Respecting residents right of choice, privacy and dignity at all times.
