Job summary

Cornerstone Healthcare Group invites compassionate Care Assistants to join our 99-bed care home, serving residents with dementia and complex needs. A £500 Welcome Bonus is offered to successful applicants.

You will assist with daily living, promote independence, and work a 38.5-hour week on a 3/4 shift pattern including night duties (19:45–07:45). Prior UK care home experience is essential.

• At least 6 months experience in UK care home settings (essential).

Responsibilities

Our 99-bed home is made up of six specialised units, each providing high-quality, person-centred care for residents living with complex needs, including dementia, mental health conditions, or other neurological disorders. What You’ll Bring

• At least 6 months experience working in a nursing home supporting residents with dementia, mental health, elderly or complex care needs within the UK (essential)
• A genuine passion for helping others and promoting dignity and independence
• Emotional resilience and a steady head in challenging situations
• A positive team-focused attitude
• A caring, reliable, and positive attitude
• Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional development
• NVQ Level 2 or working towards it (desirable)

Your Working Pattern

• Night shift: 19:45 – 07:45
• Average: 38.5 hours per week, on a 3/4 shift pattern
