Job summary

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a data analyst to test and reconcile datasets for the new EPR system. The role will create reports using Power BI, SSRS and Excel, covering ED, Inpatients, Outpatients, Theatres and RTT, to support KPIs before and after go-live.

The post holder will liaise with multiple stakeholders, explain complex datasets, and ensure data quality standards are met through robust testing and validation techniques. NHS experience is key.

Qualifications

• Experience testing and validating large datasets in healthcare or EPR environments.
• Ability to explain complex datasets to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with reporting tools (Power BI/SSRS/Excel) across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Test and reconcile large datasets for the new EPR system.
• Create and maintain reports in Power BI, SSRS, and Excel.
• Engage with stakeholders across the Trust to clarify requirements.
• Support go-live reporting and data quality assurance.
• Interpret user requirements from initial idea to final output.
