Millbank Holdings is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead HSE across major construction and infrastructure projects in Cumbria and across the UK. You will drive best practice, integrate policies and support site teams to deliver safe, compliant projects.

The role focuses on audits, incident investigations, RAMS, training and stakeholder engagement with clients and regulators to ensure the highest safety standards are maintained on programmes valued at national significance.

Formación

• Proven experience as Health & Safety Manager or similar.
• Experience in construction, civil engineering or major projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and CDM Regulations.
• Experience conducting site inspections, audits and investigations.
• Experience developing and implementing H&S policies and procedures.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to influence at all levels of an organisation.
• Experience producing safety reports and performance reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Lead health, safety and wellbeing culture across projects and sites.
• Provide expert advice on all health and safety matters.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, legislation and best practice.
• Develop, implement and monitor Health & Safety management systems.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and assurance activities.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Support RAMS development and review with project teams.
• Monitor performance against safety objectives and KPIs.
• Deliver training, toolbox talks and awareness initiatives.
• Liaise with clients, regulators and external stakeholders.
• Support supply chain partners to meet safety requirements.
• Produce detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in client and regulatory audit preparations.
• Drive behavioural safety and continual improvement initiatives.
