Manor Park Care Home is seeking a Senior Health Care Assistant for night shifts to lead the night team and ensure dignified, person-centred care. The role offers 33-hour or 44-hour contracts per week with a shift pattern from 8pm to 8am and a pay rate of £15.95 per hour.

You will supervise colleagues, complete night checks, maintain records, and liaise with families and professionals to safeguard residents while upholding infection control and safety standards.

Formación

• Experience as Senior Care Assistant or Care Assistant.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to obtain it.
• Confident leading shifts.
• Strong communication and record-keeping.
• Night-working environment suitability.
• Compassionate, reliable and organised.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, supervise and support the night care team during your shift.
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plans.
• Complete night checks and respond promptly to residents' needs.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and elevate concerns appropriately.
• Maintain accurate care records, incident reports and handovers.
• Support new starters, coach colleagues and promote best practice.
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals and external agencies where required.
• Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, infection control and health & safety are maintained.

Join our growing team at Manor Park Care Home and play a key role in delivering outstanding care and leadership throughout the night.

We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Health Care Assistant who can lead by example, support colleagues, and help ensure residents remain safe, comfortable and well cared for overnight.

What You'll Do

• A natural night owl who thrives in a night-working environment and can remain alert and responsive throughout the night.
