Qualifications

  • Registered Adult Nurse on the NMC Register.
  • 3 years of post-qualification experience in cancer services.
  • Passion for Haematology and Oncology nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients for side effects.

Role Overview:

You will be at the forefront of delivering specialist supportive therapies and compassionate care to patients and their families. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure the best possible patient outcomes, for those undergoing cancer treatment and care.

Responsibilities:
  • Administering chemotherapy and blood transfusions
  • Monitoring patients and managing side effects
  • Educating and supporting patients and families
  • Supervising junior staff and mentoring
  • Support the running of the Haematology department
Requirements:
  • Registered Adult Nurse on the NMC Register
  • 3 years post qualification experience within cancer services
  • Passion for Haematology and Oncology nursing, with a relevant qualification in the field
