Streets LLP is expanding its Central Finance team and seeks a high-calibre Financial Accountant to own statutory reporting and group-wide tax governance. The role supports external audits, post-acquisition integration, and a broad range of financial compliance within a growing professional services group.

The successful candidate will oversee statutory accounts across multiple entities, manage tax liabilities, and maintain robust financial controls while contributing to the finance integration

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA with post-qualification experience.
• Minimum 10 years’ post-qualified experience in financial reporting and governance.
• Strong accounting and tax knowledge with UK compliance focus.
• Experience consolidating multi-entity group accounts and liaising with auditors.

Responsabilités

• Own statutory accounts for group entities (UK and overseas as applicable).
• Coordinate year-end processes and timetable for statutory reporting.
• Lead external audit process and deliver information on time.
• Maintain strong financial controls and supporting workpapers.
• Oversee corporation tax calculations and payments; monitor quarterly instalments.
• Support M&A activities including due diligence and post-acquisition accounting.
