Job summary

Chaucer is seeking a senior finance professional to lead and own the Group reporting process. You will coordinate reporting to the parent and external stakeholders, drive consolidation cycles and ensure accuracy and timeliness of outputs.

Based in London with international hubs, the role requires strong IFRS/UK GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills and a proven ability to manage complex deliverables with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience consolidating accounts for large groups.
• Strong IFRS, UK GAAP knowledge and Companies Act awareness.
• Proven ability to produce management information for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Produce, review and coordinate Chaucer Group reporting to parent company and key stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated management reporting, including related party transactions.
• Support IFRS conversion processes for risk margins, discounting and liability adequacy testing.
• Conduct balance sheet and income statement analyses, investigate variances and resolve issues.
• Coordinate annual non-statutory IFRS-compliant consolidated accounts and notes.
• Prepare data for rating agency reviews and regulatory reporting; liaise with auditors.
