Job summary

Carrington Wood in Exeter seeks a Group Financial Controller to lead financial control, reporting, compliance and accounting across the Group. This senior role aims to strengthen controls, improve processes and support growth.

You will work with senior leadership and the wider Finance team, overseeing month-end close, consolidated reporting, audits and regulatory compliance. Hybrid working with clear development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a senior financial control role.
• Experience delivering consolidated group financial statements.
• Experience with multi-entity organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and year-end close processes.
• Oversee consolidated financial reporting and statutory accounts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax obligations.
• Manage external audit relationships and coordination.
