The Corporate Reporting team has recently expanded as we continue to strengthen the quality of our systems and processes to deliver best in class internal and external reporting. The opportunity to work with our in-house taxation and treasury teams as part of a team of qualified finance professionals. As someone in the Group Finance function our Senior Finance Managers will be focused on achieving a roadmap of continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing
You'll be part of the Corporate Reporting team, reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Intercompany accounting: Responsible for reviewing group processes and controls to embed best practice across all areas of intercompany accounting.
- Group Consolidation: Ensure intercompany Net Assets (intercompany working capital and cash) are cleared optimally on a monthly basis
- Entity accounting: Rightsize equity balances in each entity to align with optimal tax treatment for the group, through dividend policy. Manage the strike off process for entities where applicable to maintain optimal group structure
- Loan accounting: Work with Treasury and Tax teams to ensure intercompany debt is optimal for forex hedging and taxation purposes.
- Integration and Hive up of acquisitions: Responsible for the hive up and integration of acquired entities.
- Statutory Accounts: Responsible for the preparation and filing of subsidiary entity accounts and related documentation
- External Reporting Support: Responsible for modelling and documentation of Going Concern and Viability and related disclosures in the half year and annual reports
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve- Appropriate accounting qualification ACA/CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent/QBE)
- Prior experience of management accounting within a large organisation
- Able to drive to challenge and improve processes
- Experience in Netsuite, Planning analytics, BigQuery or other Financial/ data systems desirable
