Job summary

The CFO HQ is partnering with a global Berkshire-based manufacturer to appoint a Group Financial Controller. This senior leadership post will oversee a large, multi-entity finance operation, driving transformation, stronger controls and commercial focus.

Expect hands-on IFRS 16 expertise and a significant impact on financial reporting across the group. You will lead a ~30-strong finance team, shape the control environment, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver meaningful business

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on lease accounting experience with IFRS 16.
• Strong asset accounting background in a large asset-intensive group.
• Proven consolidation and intercompany expertise across multi-entity structures.
• Experience leading a sizeable finance team and transforming finance functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group finance, accounting, payroll and reporting functions.
• Own monthly management reporting, statutory accounts, budgets and forecasts.
• Provide technical leadership on lease and asset accounting (IFRS 16).
• Oversee year-end audit and tax reporting with external advisers.
• Strengthen financial controls, policies and procedures across the group.
• Drive cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting.
