Job summary

Sky is seeking a qualified assurance professional to join its internal audit team. You will participate in planning, execution and reporting across operational, financial, regulatory and technology areas, collaborating with colleagues worldwide to identify risks and drive remediation actions.

The role emphasizes strong IT controls knowledge, advanced MS Office skills, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. Hybrid working across Osterley or Livingston offices is offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant or Auditor with post-qualified experience in accounting, audit, or a related field.
• Strong experience in internal controls, risk, or assurance environments with understanding of IT controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Executes phases of the assurance process: planning, execution and reporting.
• Collaborates with international colleagues across time zones.
• Performs data analysis to understand operations, assess risk and set project scope.
• Evaluates records, policies and procedures against standards and legal requirements.
• Applies assurance procedures to ensure controls are tested and risks addressed.
• Prepares clear assurance work papers with findings and remediation recommendations.
• Identifies opportunities to improve assurance methodology and tools.
