Job summary

Sky is seeking an experienced assurance professional to perform quarterly assurance engagements across operational, financial, regulatory and IT controls. The role involves planning, execution and reporting with a global team, and requires strong data analysis, risk assessment and problem-solving abilities.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant or auditor with experience in internal controls, risk or assurance, and advanced MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant or Auditor with post-qualified experience in accounting, audit, or related field.
• Strong experience in internal controls, risk, or assurance environments.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret information.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Highly organised and adaptable, with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Executes aspects of the standard assurance process across planning, execution and reporting.
• Partners with international colleagues across time zones.
• Creates and presents detailed reporting using MS Office tools.
• Performs data analysis to understand operations, assess risk, and define project scope.
• Contributes to engagement planning and timetable development.
• Evaluates records and processes for compliance with policies, procedures, and laws.
• Documents findings and recommendations clearly with root-cause analysis.
• Identifies assurance findings and remediation actions.
• Supports team in applying assurance methodology and standards.
