Nexos Group is seeking a Senior Grid Compliance Consultant to act as the technical authority on UK grid connection requirements for major energy projects across the UK. You will lead grid compliance strategy for BESS, solar PV, EV infrastructure and other behind-the-meter solutions.

In this role you’ll guide projects from concept through FEED stages, navigate network constraints, secure approvals and deliver compliant, commercially viable energy schemes for a fast-moving energy transition.

Formación

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in grid connections, power systems, DNO/IDNO environments or consultancy.

Responsabilidades

• Act as SME for grid compliance, network connections and power quality.
• Lead grid interface studies during pre-FEED and FEED phases.
• Deliver G99, G100, G5/5, P28 and P29 submissions.
• Provide guidance on dual-nature import/export schemes involving BESS, Solar PV and EV charging infrastructure.
• Conduct power quality assessments, harmonic studies and fault level analysis.
• Support clients with capacity upgrades, connection applications and DNO negotiations.
• Advise on protection schemes, LOM requirements and ANM frameworks.
• Support business development by identifying grid risks and opportunities during bids.

Are you the go-to expert for grid connections, compliance, and power quality? Do you thrive on solving complex network challenges and unlocking capacity for ambitious energy projects?

Nexos Group is looking for a Senior Grid Compliance Consultant to become our technical authority on UK grid connection requirements, supporting major energy infrastructure projects across the UK. This is a highly influential role where you'll lead the grid compliance strategy for cutting-edge projects involving Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Solar PV, EV Infrastructure, and other behind-the-meter (BTM) energy solutions.

As our recognised Subject Matter Expert, you'll guide projects from concept through pre-FEED and FEED stages, helping clients navigate network constraints, secure approvals, and deliver compliant, commercially viable energy schemes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Acting as the business-wide SME for grid compliance, network connections and power quality
• Leading grid interface studies during pre-FEED and FEED phases
• Managing and delivering successful G99, G100, G5/5, P28 and P29 submissions
• Providing expert guidance on dual-nature import/export schemes involving BESS, Solar PV and EV charging infrastructure
• Conducting power quality assessments, harmonic studies and fault level analysis
• Supporting clients with supply capacity upgrades, connection applications and DNO negotiations
• Advising on protection schemes, Loss of Mains (LOM) requirements and Active Network Management (ANM) frameworks
• Supporting business development activities by identifying grid risks and opportunities during bids and tenders

What We're Looking For

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or a related discipline
• 5+ years' experience in grid connections, power systems, DNO/IDNO environments or consultancy
• Deep understanding of UK grid compliance and ENA Engineering Recommendations including G99, G100, G5/5, P28 and P29
• Demonstrable experience delivering complex behind-the-meter and dual-nature connection projects
• Strong understanding of power quality, fault levels, protection systems and distribution network constraintsExperience working directly with DNOs and IDNOs to secure connection agreements
• Confident communicator with the ability to present technical solutions to both engineering and commercial stakeholders
