Blue Bee is seeking a talented Senior Graphic Designer for a 14-month maternity cover position. This role will lead the creative design process across multiple channels, ensuring brand consistency and engaging visual output for all marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in digital and print design, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

About the role

As a Senior Graphic Designer at Blue Bee, you will play a key role in shaping visually compelling and strategic design solutions for a diverse range of clients. You will lead creative projects, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with the marketing and development teams to bring brands to life. Your expertise in visual storytelling, typography, and digital design will be crucial in producing high-quality graphics for web, print, and multimedia campaigns. A keen eye for detail, strong conceptual thinking, and proficiency in industry-standard design tools are essential for success in this role.

Your responsibilities

• Lead the creation and maintenance of digital and print design assets across all company brands.
• Develop engaging content for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
• Oversee design schedules and workflows to ensure timely delivery of assets.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and content teams to enhance campaign strategies.
• Manage and organise the company’s asset library, ensuring all work aligns with brand guidelines.
• Amend existing creative and third-party artwork in line with brand requirements.
• Ensure all creative output is high quality, error-free, and aligns with business objectives.
• Work with internal teams to understand creative needs and refine the briefing process.
• Occasionally support major company events with creative design elements.

Skills, Experience & Competencies

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with expertise in website, digital and print design.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma.
• Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to present and explain ideas.
• Highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of design projects.
