Job summary

Evotec is seeking a Senior Grant Management Specialist to oversee international grant processes and opportunities. The role focuses on understanding major funding schemes, expanding the funder network, and briefing senior staff to strengthen competitive applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grant-management track record, capability to write in English, and a willingness to travel internationally, with the ability to work across European and U.S. sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in natural or medical sciences; PhD would be ideal.
• Several years of grant management experience with a strong track record of supporting and advising on funding applications.
• Successful track record in working with various funders.
• Able to write grant applications in English.
• Dynamic, resilient, and positive-minded even under pressure.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of European, North American and Asian funding schemes and application processes.
• Expand Evotec's global network of funders and work with funding organizations.
• Seek, evaluate, and brief senior staff on novel grant opportunities.
• Support Evotec researchers in preparing competitive applications.
• Lead development of grant management processes and procedures.
• Collaborate across Evotec sites in Europe and USA.
