Job summary

NexGen Cloud is seeking a Technical Architect to lead the design and validation of large GPU/HPC cluster deployments in live data centres. You will translate high-level designs into build-ready, on-site installable layouts, ensuring BOMs, cabling, and fabric topology meet real constraints.

You’ll own the design authority from CTO handover to customer acceptance. Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with GB200/GB300 rack-scale NVIDIA hardware, InfiniBand/Ethernet fabric design, and strong

Qualifications

• Designed and delivered large-scale GPU or HPC clusters in live data centres.
• Deep, practical knowledge of NVIDIA platforms GB200/GB300 rack-scale and HGX H200/B200.
• Cluster-scale InfiniBand and Ethernet fabric design: topology, oversubscription, cable/optic selection.
• Physical infrastructure design across power, redundancy, direct liquid cooling, containment.
• You can hold OEMs to account when commitments slip.
• Factory integration and FAT experience, including holding a dispatch gate.
• Storage design for AI workloads (WEKA, VAST, DDN or Ceph or similar).
• Deployments across multiple geographies and data centre operators, including fit-out sites.
• Neocloud or hyperscale experience on compressed schedules.

Responsibilities

• Take each cluster from CTO handover to customer acceptance as its single design authority.
• Turn high-level designs and BOMs into build-ready low-level designs, hall layouts, rack elevations, P2P maps and cable schedules.
• Design the InfiniBand and Ethernet fabric, power, direct liquid cooling and containment to fit each data centre.
• Validate every BOM before procurement and make substitution calls with knowledge of impacts.
• Hold OEMs and integrators to their technical commitments, from FAT through to on-site issue resolution.
• Build reference designs and building blocks for repeat deployments starting from a known-good baseline.
