Job summary

Thunes Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Golang) to join the Europe-based Engineering team. You will help scale our core platform, deliver new features and automate development processes in a fast-growing fintech environment.

You will work on highly available services; collaborate with global partners, ensure secure, well-tested code and contribute to a culture of learning and performance. Hybrid working policy applies.

Qualifications

Degree in IT/Engineering/CS or related field.
Strong Golang background with API design experience.
Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers.
Familiarity with relational databases and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

Work on highly available services exposed mainly by APIs.
Design, implement and ship new products for internal and external stakeholders.
Deliver high quality, secure, scalable and well-documented software.
Champion Agile practices, code reviews, CI/CD and sprint planning.
Evaluate new technologies and initiatives for the platform.
