United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a Senior Go Engineer to join our Payment Performance team. You will help optimize routing, latency, and reliability for high-throughput payments in a fast-scaling fintech environment.

Based in the UK with a hybrid model, you will collaborate across data science, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver robust features and maintain high standards of quality and documentation.

Qualifications

• Expert level experience with Golang.
• Proven ability to design large, scalable, high throughput systems.
• Experience with AWS and microservice architectures.
• Strong understanding of API design (HTTP/GRPC) and distributed systems.
• Excellent collaborative and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive and support engineers working on proprietary algorithms.
• Uphold uptime and latency standards while preserving API veracity.
• Collaborate with data scientists to improve platform and algorithms.
• Assist in hiring and developing engineers on the team.
• Maintain team cohesion and healthiness.
• Contribute to long term infrastructure planning.
• Maintain code, infrastructure and documentation quality.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Design, develop and deliver new features for our products.
