Job summary

Salt Search is seeking a Senior Golang Developer to help build a modern, globally scalable Loyalty & Benefits platform. You will work in an Agile engineering team, delivering high‑performance microservices and RESTful APIs in a cloud‑native environment.

The ideal candidate has strong commercial Golang experience, hands‑on with Docker and CI/CD, and experience with event‑driven systems using Kafka or RabbitMQ. Kubernetes, PostgreSQL and cloud familiarity are a bonus.

Qualifications

• Golang experience with production-grade microservices.
• Experience building RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ.

We're looking for a talented Senior Golang Developer to join an exciting project building a modern, globally scalable Loyalty & Benefits platform.

You'll work within an Agile engineering team, developing high-performance microservices and APIs using modern cloud-native technologies.

What we're looking for:

• Strong commercial Golang experience - essential
• Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
• Event-driven systems - Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar
• Docker and containerised applications
• CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Agile/Scrum development experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus points for:

• Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, gRPC or GraphQL
• AWS or cloud-native development
• Experience in financial services or high-volume transactional platforms
• Test-driven development (TDD)
