Job summary

Entrust is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, build, and deploy microservices in a cloud-native environment. The role is based in Cambridge with a hybrid setup requiring 3 days onsite.

You will own backend services, APIs, and CI/CD integration, using GoLang and modern tooling to deliver high-quality software. Collaboration with cloud ops and fellow developers is key.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years in GoLang.
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture, principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs (OpenAPI 3.0).
• Proficiency in unit, integration, functional and system testing in GoLang.
• Experience using Atlassian tools for project management and collaboration.
• Solid understanding of Git and JIRA.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Good working knowledge of MongoDB.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Experience with design documents (LLD, HLD, UML, API specs).
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Microservices Developer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying microservices using GoLang within a cloud-native environment. This role requires a strong understanding of Golang programming language, microservice architecture, containerization, and cloud technologies. You will work closely with other developers and cloud operations teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software.

Mandatory Skills:
