Job summary

Cambridge Aerospace is seeking a Senior GNC Engineer to shape a new interceptor from concept through flight test. You will join the core missile design team, owning guidance or control and shaping the GNC architecture to influence performance across demanding flight regimes.

Responsibilities include shaping the interceptor concept via GNC trades, designing guidance and flight control laws, and conducting simulation campaigns and flight trials in fast-paced R&D settings.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering GNC workstreams with ownership from concept to test.
• Strong background in control theory and flight mechanics for high-speed vehicles.
• Proficiency in developing guidance laws and interception algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Shape interceptor concept through GNC trades influencing airframe and systems design.
• Own guidance and/or flight control law design from concept through flight test.
• Develop and evaluate guidance strategies and engagement algorithms for high-dynamic scenarios.
• Design flight control laws across subsonic to supersonic regimes.
• Plan and support simulation campaigns, ground tests, and flight trials.
