Job summary

Intuition Defence in London seeks a Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer to design, integrate, and test flight autonomy software for unmanned aerial systems. You will work across programs to adapt GNC algorithms and contribute to core software stacks powering multiple defense projects.

Required are a Master’s degree and 6+ years of hands-on GNC experience, with strong C++ skills and experience with PX4/ArduPilot. Travel and UK security clearance are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aerospace, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or similar field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience developing GNC software for autonomous systems.
• Experience developing autonomy algorithms in C++.
• Experience with flight testing and data analysis.
• Security clearance eligibility (UK).

Responsibilities

• Write and integrate GNC software for autonomous aircraft systems (group 1–5 UAVs) and simulated models.
• Develop and test auto piloting and navigation algorithms across programs.
• Collaborate with third-party UAS vendors to integrate autonomy software onto OEM hardware.
