Job summary

Applied Intuition Defence UK is seeking a seasoned Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer to design, implement, and test flight autonomy software for a range of aerial platforms. You will collaborate across teams to tailor GNC algorithms to program needs and contribute to the core software stack for multiple programs.

The role requires a Master’s in a relevant field and 6+ years in GNC software with strong C++ and Python skills, plus experience with PX4/Ardupilot and flight testing in a defense

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering field.
• 6+ years of hands-on GNC software development experience.
• Experience in C++ development for autonomous systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate and test core flight autonomy capabilities for aerial UAS.
• Develop and adapt GNC algorithms for multiple programs.
• Collaborate with external vendors to integrate autonomy software onto hardware.
