Job summary

W Talent is recruiting a General Manager to lead a multi-site operation in Nottingham, with full P&L responsibility and a focus on distribution, manufacturing, assembly and recycling activities. The role reports to the Regional Director and requires strong leadership of commercial and operational teams.

You will own the sales strategy, drive growth, ensure customer service excellence, safety, compliance and operational performance across three Nottingham sites, and develop strategies for

Qualifications

• Proven full P&L accountability.
• Strong sales and commercial leadership experience.
• Relevant manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Distribution, warehouse or logistics management experience.
• A demonstrable record of delivering business growth and improved profitability.
• Experience leading operational improvement and change.
• Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience would be highly beneficial.
• Multi-site leadership experience.
• Excellent communication, leadership and decision-making skills.
• Experience within packaging, manufacturing, assembly, paper/cardboard or recycling would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Full P&L responsibility across three sites.
• Lead, develop and grow the sales and commercial teams.
• Own sales strategy, targets, pipeline and key customer relationships.
• Manage distribution, warehousing, stock, logistics and purchasing.
• Provide leadership across manufacturing and assembly operations.
• Develop and deliver strategic growth plans.
• Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and operational excellence.
• Develop management capability, succession and team structures.
• Ensure robust Health & Safety and environmental compliance.
• Manage budgets, KPIs and overall business performance.
