Job summary

TRC London Ltd seeks a General Manager for a growing flexible workspace portfolio. You will lead day-to-day operations and commercial performance across sites, with autonomy and support from Directors.

The role requires travel between regional sites and a focus on service excellence. Ideal candidates will have leadership experience in flexible workspace environments, strong budgeting and reporting skills, and a track record of developing teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a customer-facing workspace team within flexible workspace, serviced offices or coworking environments.
• Operational and commercial responsibility for a site, cluster or portfolio.
• Strong budgeting, P&L management and business reporting know-how.
• Knowledge of workspace systems such as Nexudus or OfficeRnD.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between regional sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation and commercial performance of the business.
• Manage P&L across sites and portfolio.
• Set and manage budgets, scorecards and KPIs.
• Produce monthly performance reporting for Directors.
• Lead, develop and support the management/operational team.
• Establish meetings, development plans and standard ways of working.
• Maintain consistent processes and service standards across locations.
• Oversee client satisfaction, invoicing, payment tracking and debtor management.
• Provide leadership across operations, facilities, sales and marketing priorities.
• Review business rates, utilities, and supplier costs; monitor costs.
• Ensure legal/regulatory and operational compliance.
• Evaluate pricing/service lines to improve performance.
• Assess new projects and develop business cases with Directors.
• Monitor competitors and best practice in flexible workspace.
• Lead continuous improvement across systems, processes and technology.
• Help shape approach to AI, sustainability and future service delivery.
• Provide occasional site/front-desk cover when needed.
