Corpay in London (Moorgate) is recruiting a Senior Global Operations Associate to join the Validation and Settlements team, supporting the daily processing of outbound transactions across currencies.

You will work closely with Transaction Services and other operation units, ensuring data accuracy, timely settlements, and strong partner relationships while complying with company policies. This role offers hands-on training and clear career progression.

Qualifications

What you’ll be doing

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Senior Global Operations Associate on a permanent basis within our Operations division. This position falls under our Cross Borders line of business and is based in our London (Moorgate) office. In this role you will be an integral part of the Validation and Settlements team in supporting daily deliverables for our global client base specifically the timely delivery of all outbound transactions (ACH, EFT, International and Domestic Wires). You will report directly to the Global Head of Operations and regularly collaborate with operation teams such as Transaction Services, Validation and Settlements, Exception, Wire Investigations and Incoming.

Role Responsibilities

• Supporting the Manager and senior management in servicing overall operations with minimal supervision.


• Validating the data input, ensuring that all relevant information has been obtained and local routing requirements are met.


• Participating in the settlement process of spot and forward orders adhering to specific client details in an efficient and accurate manner.


• Overseeing the beneficiary creation and validation process supporting outbound settlements of all global currencies (Majors, Minors, Exotics) across all delivery channels (Wire, ACH, EFT, Cheque).


• Ensuring funds reach our global clients and beneficiaries in a timely manner with the highest degree of data accuracy and confidentiality.


• Working closely with internal business units to improve service delivery and workflow efficiency.


• Maintaining strong working relationships with our banking partners.


• Training and support associates on a continuous basis.


• Providing training and understanding on various aspects to other team members.


• Providing ideas & areas of improvement for further improving the processing standard, providing weekly & monthly MIS.


• Complying with all applicable policies, standards, guidelines, and controls; and adhoc projects as requested.

Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant full-time work experience, ideally in operational roles within fintech’s, banks or other financial services companies.


• Exposure to and understanding of global payment formatting requirements (major, minor, and exotic markets).


• Experience with SWIFT banking system, payment processing and payment investigations.


• 3+ years experience in a similar role.


• Degree/ Diploma in Business, Finance, or related field.


• Ability to organize, plan and schedule activities and attention to detail.


• Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills and comfort in dealing with individuals across all levels of the organization.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Fully proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook).


• IT literate with the ability to quickly learn new systems.


• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision.
