Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Global Mobility Advisor to manage international assignments end-to-end, including immigration, tax, and relocation matters, across the EMEAPAC region.

You will partner with HR, Tax and Finance, advise business leaders, and drive continuous improvements in mobility processes while supporting a flexible hybrid work model for colleagues in Newcastle and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience of dealing with international assignments and relocations within a global organisation and/or professional services partnership (or equivalent).
• Experience of providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills required to deal with external and internal clients at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines.
• Ability to build relationships with partners/managers is essential.
• Good IT skills (Excel, HR Information systems).
• Must present a professional, friendly and client-focused approach at all times.
• Should be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong team player.
• A legal background is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders across the EMEAPAC network, providing globally focused mobility guidance.
• Serve as first point of contact for global mobility enquiries, offering policy, immigration, tax and relocation advice.
• Conduct risk assessments for mobility cases addressing immigration, tax, social security and employment law risks.
• Coordinate with managed services providers to manage case logistics and services.
• Meet with Global Mobility cases for a briefing before logistics are organised by vendors.
• Assist with relocation or repatriation logistics and approval of relocation expenses.
• Drive continuous improvement of mobility processes, policies and reporting across EMEAPAC.
