Job summary

IO is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Innovation Manager to lead global transformation initiatives across the factory network, driving advanced production solutions and digitalisation to sustain competitive advantage.

You will design technology roadmaps, oversee multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets, engage senior stakeholders, and build partnerships with vendors, universities, and industry bodies to deliver safe, high‑quality manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Led technology-driven projects from concept to industrialisation in manufacturing.
• Managed multi-stream global initiatives with budget control and risk mitigation.
• Strong engineering background; postgraduate PM or digital manufacturing qualifications are a plus.
• Minimum 10 years in manufacturing transformation or continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and execution of a global innovation roadmap focusing on machining, automation, and digitalisation.
• Oversee a diverse global innovation team, allocate resources, and ensure delivery within scope and budget.
• Advance technology domains such as machining processes, robotic automation, and digital tooling.
• Establish a structured innovation process with governance and transition to serial production.
• Build partnerships with vendors, academia, and industry networks.
