Job summary
Company Shop Group is seeking a Head of Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement to lead the transition toward a manufacturing-led future, reporting to the Operations Director and driving operational excellence.
The role focuses on strategic development, data-driven decision-making, and leading transformation programmes across the business to deliver sustainable improvements and growth.
Qualifications
- Significant leadership experience in manufacturing or operations.
- Proven track record of delivering productivity and performance improvements.
- Experience leading transformation and CI programmes.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or other methodologies.
- Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver long-term manufacturing and operational excellence strategy.
- Drive productivity and performance through data-led decisions.
- Lead transformation and CI projects across the business.
- Champion Lean and best practice in operations.
- Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
- Build capabilities, processes and infrastructure for growth.
- Collaborate to deliver measurable improvements.
- Develop CI capability through coaching and knowledge sharing.
