Job summary

IQVIA in Reading, Berkshire is seeking a Senior Global Trial Manager to lead late‑phase, global clinical trials within the Single Sponsor Department. You will drive timelines, budgets and quality across cross‑functional teams, coordinating with Medical Affairs, study teams, investigators, CROs and vendors.

The role offers exposure to one or more pathways (SRC, NIS, MAP, IITs, RCs, PLD) and requires strong planning, risk management and collaboration skills to deliver complex studies globally.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in planning, executing and reporting global clinical trials in a pharmaceutical company or CRO, with exposure to late-phase studies.
• Experience working in global, cross-functional matrix teams and building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee Medical Affairs activities from setup through closure, ensuring on-time, quality deliverables.
• Act as the operational point of contact for assigned work and build relationships with global stakeholders.
• Develop, coordinate and maintain study, program, submission and regulatory documents with required inputs and approvals.
• Coordinate Global Medical Affairs inputs for regulatory reports and DSURs where applicable.
• Organise kick-off, strategy, governance meetings and prepare minutes and action items.
• Manage operational information, trackers and reporting in relevant systems.
• Plan and monitor budgets and resources, including supply forecasts.
