Job summary

COWI is seeking a Technical Director in Ground Engineering to lead numerical modelling across major infrastructure projects. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, ensure model integrity, and shape engineering recommendations for clients.

Qualifications

Chartered Civil Engineer (MICE) status required.
Strong geotechnical experience on infrastructure projects.
Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Coordinate development and review of advanced numerical models (PLAXIS).
Design and validate geotechnical FE models and boundary conditions.
Provide technical oversight for soil/rock-structure interaction assessments.
Integrate modelling outputs into wider design processes with civil teams.
Prepare high-quality reports communicating modelling approaches and implications.
