Job description

Airswift is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global engineering consultancy for the following permanent position:

Position: Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Location: Woking, UK

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly experienced, technically strong, and versatile Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a world-class engineering consultancy delivering complex onshore and offshore projects across the energy, oil & gas, and low-carbon sectors.

Key Responsibilities and Expertise:

• Strong technical proficiency in geotechnical engineering for both onshore and offshore applications.

• Proficient in industry tools such as SACS-PSI, L-Pile, GRLWEAP, MathCAD, along with robust manual calculation capabilities.

• Lead geotechnical design, data interpretation, and deliverables across feasibility, FEED, and EPC project phases.

• Familiarity with international design codes and standards, including ISO, DNV, and BS/EN.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering.

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively working towards it.

• Proven experience in oil & gas and/or low-carbon energy transition sectors.

Desirable Additional Experience:

• Exposure to civil or structural engineering disciplines.

• Effective working in multi-disciplinary teams and cross-functional environments.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
