Job description

Due to continued growth and recent project wins an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join an established engineering consultancy in Redhill. You will join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy to work on their growing pipeline of work and across the south.

You will join to assist in the management of a growing geotechnical and environmental team, including supporting junior staff in their development. You will have strong project management experience and lead on projects including highways, rail, industrial residential and commercial providing a high quality technical input. You will bring to the role a thorough understanding in the assessment and detailed design of temporary works, slope stability, foundation and basement design and ground improvement.

To be considered for this role you will:

• Have a degree in Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Sciences
  
• Be chartered or close to becoming chartered
  
• Have strong geotechnical design experience in the UK
  
• Have experience in PLAXIS and Wallap
