Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, is seeking a Senior Geospatial Machine Learning Engineer based in the United Kingdom to develop AI solutions from satellite data to insights.

You will lead geospatial ML projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and own production-grade algorithms using remote sensing data to support critical infrastructure and climate tech initiatives.

Remote work available with flexible arrangements and international collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in ML engineering, geospatial engineering, remote sensing, or related field.
• Strong Python with GDAL, Rasterio, Shapely, Fiona, GeoPandas.
• Experience with NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, Pandas.
• Deep learning with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Understanding of satellite imagery, aerial imagery, and geospatial data processing.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Dagster.
• Ability to lead initiatives, manage projects, and communicate results.

Responsibilities

• Develop new geospatial intelligence products using Python-based geospatial libs, ML, and DL.
• Improve existing solutions through data exploration, model optimization, and debugging.
• Work with satellite imagery, raster/vector data, and geospatial workflows.
• Lead technical projects from planning through delivery and stakeholder communication.
• Build tools to evaluate model performance, impact, and data-driven prioritization.
• Collaborate with data engineering, product, platform, and delivery teams throughout ML lifecycle.
• Contribute to technical direction and engineering practices in a fast-growing environment.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
