Job summary

ISR RECRUITMENT LIMITED is seeking a Senior Geographical Systems Engineer to join a market-leading IT consultancy for a 6-month contract. The role involves designing, building and supporting cloud-native geospatial data services and pipelines, with delivery to analytics, reporting and operational applications.

You will work within multidisciplinary Agile teams, applying best practices in geospatial data engineering and API-based data access, across modern cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering geospatial solutions in large-scale environments.
• Strong consultancy background with stakeholder-facing work.
• Design and support scalable geospatial data platforms and services.
• Deep knowledge of GeoPackage, GeoTIFF, COGs, FlatGeobuf and PMTiles.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support cloud-native geospatial services.
• Develop scalable geospatial data pipelines.
• Integrate spatial datasets from multiple sources.
