Job summary

Buro Happold Engineer India Private Limited is seeking a Geospatial Data Scientist to apply advanced analytics to large geospatial datasets and drive insights across global projects. You will help shape 3D virtual cities and digital twins, set GIS standards, and train teams in GIS tools while leading complex masterplanning data governance.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in data science and geospatial technologies, including Python, R, SQL, ArcGIS, and QGIS, with experience in cloud

Qualifications

Graduate in Data Science, GIS or Computer Science with 7+ years of experience.
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL and ML techniques for geospatial data.
Experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, ArcPy and spatial databases.

Responsibilities

Research and develop geospatial services and 3D digital twin concepts.
Manage masterplanning data governance and project delivery.
Set GIS data quality standards and create standard templates.
Train teams on GIS tools and develop new templates and styles.
Lead bids for work, estimate fees, and plan resources.
Develop web mapping using AI/ML and integrate datasets into engines.
