Job summary
Arup is seeking an experienced Geospatial Developer to design and maintain reliable systems for managing spatial data across infrastructure, energy, cities, and environmental markets. The role involves enabling consultants, designers and engineers to discover and use geospatial data at project scale and to deliver timely insights for clients.
You will join a 50+ strong geospatial team, collaborating across disciplines and leveraging Python, SQL, Databricks and cloud platforms to build scalable
Qualifications
- Experience with geospatial applications such as ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Ability to apply spatial analysis, modelling or AI-enabled workflows, including machine learning, Earth Observation, constraint analysis, route optioneering or site suitability.
- Proficiency with Python, SQL, Databricks or Azure in data engineering and cloud platforms.
- Ability to build repeatable, scalable and reproducible tools for large spatial datasets and enterprise geospatial systems.
- Capability to translate business or engineering needs into robust spatial, analytical and AI-enabled workflows.
