Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Geophysicist based in Oxfordshire, delivering high-quality geophysical surveys across sectors. The role offers a strong balance of fieldwork and office analysis with clear progression and hybrid working options.

You will design, acquire, and interpret geophysical data using techniques such as ground penetrating radar, resistivity, and magnetometry to identify subsurface features and support engineering and archaeological projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geophysics, Geology, or a related discipline.
• Experience with geophysical survey techniques (desirable).
• Willingness to travel and work outdoors.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Full Right to Work in the UK Permanently.

Responsibilities

• Conducting geophysical surveys and site data collection.
• Processing and interpreting geophysical datasets.
• Producing clear, concise technical reports.
