Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Geophysicist for a permanent role in London. You will design, acquire, and interpret geophysical data to support engineering, environmental and infrastructure projects. Travel and outdoor work are expected, with exposure to GPR, resistivity and magnetometry techniques.

The position offers a mix of fieldwork and office analysis, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and clear progression opportunities within a specialist geophysics group.

Qualifications

• A degree in Geophysics, Geology, or a related discipline is required.
• Experience with geophysical survey techniques is desirable.
• Willingness to travel and work outdoors.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Full Right to Work in the UK Permanently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geophysical surveys and site data collection.
• Process and interpret geophysical datasets.
• Produce clear, concise technical reports.
• Support survey planning and delivery.
