Job summary
Bridgewater Consultancy in Stockport is seeking a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer to manage and deliver contaminated land projects across residential, commercial and industrial sectors. The role involves desk studies, site investigations, sampling, risk assessment and remediation support, with coordination of clients, laboratories and internal teams.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' UK geo-environmental or environmental engineering experience.
- Experience managing site investigations and reporting.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Engineering, Geoscience or related discipline.
- Experience preparing Phase 1 desk studies and Phase 2 geo-environmental reports.
Responsibilities
- Manage geo-environmental and contaminated land projects.
- Coordinate site works, subcontractors, laboratories and internal resources.
- Prepare project scopes, programmes and technical delivery plans.
- Liaise with clients, regulators, contractors and project teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and review site records and draft reporting.
- Ensure delivery to programme, budget and quality standards.
