Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Senior Geo-environmental Consultant to lead technical input across UK infrastructure projects. You will oversee materials characterization, contaminated site management, and risk assessment to ensure resilient, sustainable outcomes.

You will mentor teams, engage with clients and partners, and play a role in business development while enjoying agile working arrangements to balance work-life priorities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science or related Earth Sciences discipline.
• Chartered member of a relevant institution (e.g., CGeol, CEnv, CIWEM).
• Experience in land quality evaluation and contaminated site management in a UK consulting environment.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical management and input to a broad range of projects across the lifecycle.
• Characterisation of materials and management of contaminated sites for infrastructure projects.
• Support design teams and contracting partners with technical advice and risk assessments.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to business development and strategic planning.
