Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering Geology, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of contaminated land legislation and UK regulatory frameworks.
• Experience managing site investigations and contaminated land risk assessments.
• Excellent report writing and technical interpretation skills.
• Strong project management and client-facing experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Full UK driving license and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver geo-environmental and contaminated land projects from inception to completion.
• Plan, supervise, and coordinate intrusive site investigations.
• Undertake contaminated land risk assessments and remediation strategies.
• Interpret geological, geotechnical, and environmental data.
• Prepare Phase 1 Desk Studies, Phase 2 Site Investigation Reports, and technical interpretative reports.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, regulators, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Mentor and supporting junior consultants and engineers.
• Manage project budgets, programmes, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with current environmental legislation and health and safety standards.
• Support business development activities and client relationship management.
