Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a senior leader to become General Manager for the Urgent Care Clinical Service Unit, overseeing three Emergency Departments and rapid clinical advice lines across two main hospital sites.

You will provide visible leadership for delivery, safety and quality, align priorities with the Trust's strategy, manage governance, demand and capacity, and build strong partnerships with clinical and corporate teams.

Qualifikationen

• Postgraduate qualification or equivalent senior management experience in urgent and emergency care.
• Evidence of continuing professional development in the field.
• Substantial operational management experience in a large, complex acute healthcare organisation.

Aufgaben

• Lead a senior management team, including Service Managers and Business Managers.
• Lead operational delivery, performance, quality, workforce and financial management for the CSU.
• Provide visible, inclusive leadership to multidisciplinary teams across sites.
• Deliver national and local urgent and emergency care standards, operational plans and performance trajectories.
• Ensure robust governance, risk management, patient safety and continuous improvement.
• Drive service transformation, pathway redesign, digital innovation and Leeds Improvement Method implementation.
• Develop business cases, contracting arrangements and plans to support CSU priorities.
• Work with partners across Leeds to improve access, flow, outcomes and patient experience.
• Support the Clinical Director and Head of Nursing in setting CSU strategic direction.
