Job summary

MWH Treatment currently seeks a Senior General Foreman Site to lead a section of work on major projects in the UK. Based at a project in the Preston area, you will report to the Construction Manager and coordinate safety, HSQE, programme and budget requirements.

Your responsibilities include setting up site operations, enforcing method statements and risk assessments, managing site resources, and ensuring compliance with safety policies and security measures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate initial site set-up with Site Manager and actively installing framework systems and procedures
• Enforce methods and controls for optimal use of framework resources
• Assess security risk and implement appropriate security levels for property under control
• Support Site Manager to maintain and enforce HSQE standards according to safety policies
• Work according to method statements and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with HS&E policies and procedures

Job description

We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a Senior General Foreman Site based at one of a projects in the UU region.

You will report directly to the Construction Manager and you will support and coordinate the safe management of a section of work on major projects or control all site activities on a smaller project ensuring HSQE, programme and budget requirements are set.

Key responsibilities will include:

• In conjunction with the Site Manager, co-ordinate and control initial site set-up, actively installing framework systems and procedures
• Rigorously apply and enforce methods and controls to ensure the most effective and continuous use of the frameworks resources.
• In conjunction with the Site Manager, appraise the security risk to all property under your control and install security levels commensurate to the relative values.
• Actively support the Site Manager to maintain and enforce safety standards as required by statute and in accordance with our safety policies
• Work to method statements and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance to all HS&E policies and procedures
