Qualifications

Job description

Job Title: General Foreman
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: Hampton
Type: Permanent | Site-based

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive General Foreman to strengthen their construction team on-site in Hampton. You will report directly to the Site Manager and support the delivery of major infrastructure projects, coordinating a section of work or overseeing all site activities on smaller projects. Your primary focus will be on health, safety, quality, and environmental (HSQE) compliance, as well as meeting programme and budget objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Site Manager with site set-up and implementation of framework systems and procedures.
  • Enforce effective utilisation of site resources to ensure continuous productivity.
  • Assess and mitigate security risks for all site-controlled properties.
  • Maintain and promote high health and safety standards in line with company policies.
  • Operate in compliance with approved method statements and risk assessments.
  • Ensure full adherence to HS&E policies and procedures.
What Our Client is Looking For:
  • ONC or HNC in a construction-related discipline.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
  • First Aid qualified.
  • Confined space training (preferred).
  • Demonstrable experience in the non-infrastructure water treatment sector.
