Job summary

Broadridge is seeking a Senior Developer to join our AI Enablement Team in Greater London. You’ll design, implement, and scale GenAI-powered solutions across the platform, mentoring juniors and collaborating with architects to deliver robust software.

We value strong Python and ReactJS skills, cloud experience with AWS, and a solid grounding in RESTful APIs, CI/CD, and Agile practices. This hybrid role offers learning, growth, and exposure to cutting-edge AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in developing IT solutions.
• Proficient in Python and ReactJS.
• GenAI application development including vector stores, RAG, context engineering, prompt engineering, observability.
• Experience with Agentic AI development & Java Spring Framework would be advantageous.
• Understanding of full stack development and architecture patterns.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Proven track record in developing base frameworks and defining standards.
• Knowledge of AWS and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications. Write well‑structured, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers. Collaborate with architects on scalable solutions.
• Review code to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
• Write unit tests and participate in testing to ensure software reliability.
• Collaborate with QA, product managers, and designers to deliver high‑quality software.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks; optimize for speed and scalability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
