Job summary

Ocho People seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to scale two GenAI platforms, with a strong emphasis on secure, scalable production systems and hands-on development across Python, TypeScript, React and Node.js.

You will work in a Belfast-based, technology-driven consultancy environment, delivering features end to end, integrating REST/GraphQL APIs and cloud services (AWS/Azure) in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience across Python, TypeScript, React and Node.js.
• Track record building modern full stack applications end to end.
• Good working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience designing or consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of secure software engineering practices, comfortable in complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver full stack features across enterprise GenAI products using Python, TypeScript, React and Node.js.
• Design and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs connecting GenAI capabilities to existing systems.
• Collaborate on cloud architecture decisions across AWS and/or Azure.
• Support integration between GenAI platforms and wider enterprise systems.
• Implement observability across logging, monitoring and tracing for production services.
• Operate containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering practice across the team.
• Apply secure coding and data protection principles throughout.
• Help ensure GenAI services stay scalable, reliable and production ready.
• Partner with product, engineering and AI teams to scope and deliver new use cases.
