Job summary

VEED is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead GenAI editing, including LLM-powered editing, subtitles, and APIs. You will shape the strategy, roadmaps, and outcomes for this area, collaborating with engineering, design, research, data, marketing, and partnerships.

This role requires senior product leadership in a PLG SaaS/AI environment, strong analytics, experience shipping APIs, and practical GenAI fluency.

Qualifications

• Senior product management experience in a PLG SaaS or AI company.
• Analytical and strategic rigour with data-driven problem understanding.
• Ability to own both user-facing features and technical surfaces such as APIs.
• Strong fluency in GenAI and LLMs with technical understanding to discuss with engineering.
• Ongoing awareness of GenAI market and competitive landscape.
• Ability to translate market and technical knowledge into well-scoped product bets.
• Track record of owning roadmap and strategy for a product area.
• Strong commercial acumen linking product decisions to business objectives.
• Clear, concise communicator with executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Define the GenAI editing strategy and roadmap for VEED.
• Identify where LLMs and automation improve workflows and user value.
• Turn model capabilities into focused product bets with clear value and commercial rationale.
• Maintain awareness of model releases, competitor activity, and market shifts to inform direction.
• Partner with engineering to evaluate models for quality, latency, reliability, safety, and cost.
• Own product bets across automatic editing, subtitles, NL editing, text, styling, and transformation.
• Develop experiences reducing manual work and speeding up finished videos.
• Define balance between automation and user control.
• Own quality and compliance considerations including watermarking and safety.
• Define hypotheses and success metrics using research, data, and experimentation.
• Identify which editing capabilities should be exposed as APIs and design routes to market.
